  1. Hi. (I’m on facebook, but have no website) I didn’t read every single cult in here, but I wanted to express my concern over, what I see to be, the biggest cult in our midst in this time. Oprah. If you go on youtube, type in Oprah, youtube, or The Church of Oprah, Oprah and New Age, Oprah and Course in Miracles (Jesus, evil, guilt, sin, do not exist) Oprah and Homosexuality (and I quote: “It’s a gift from God.” Oprah and her biggest guru, who is by her side often, Eckhart Tolle, which you can type in, or his books, she promotes, A New Earth and The Power of Now. Read the latter and decide if this isn’t dangerous. Read anything by him and listen to Oprah also deny Christ is the only way to heaven right on her show. It is also on youtube, type in Oprah denies Christ. She leads her audiences with Eckhart into meditation and trance like situations, she bows to them with her hands folded, they seem to be worshipping her, they do worship her! I don’t know if you have delved into this, but I stopped, as a Christian, watching Oprah one year ago, as I saw her get more and more into New Age, even promoting Harry Potter, which is witchcraft, as is this new age stuff she’s promoting in her “spirtuality 101” and course in miracles with Marianne Williamson. There is no Jesus, God can be called whatever you wish, the light, higher power, anything and the cross, I forget her comments on that, but she pretty much plays down the significance of the cross. To me, I agree with one minister on youtube who says, she is the most dangerous woman of our time, and some say, she’s the anti Christ. I can see why they would say this. It’s very frightening and if you watch any of this, you will see how serious it is, as she affects millions all over the world! And many, many Christians (she calls herself one) have embraced Eckhart Tolle and whatever Oprah says, because, it all sounds logical and good, even if leaves out the bible, God and Christ, which it does! To me, most of the above cults pale in comparison to the newest, largest cult of all, Oprah and her own religion she is succeeding in pushing forth. So many give up their true beliefs because they trust her so. I was a fan of hers for years. I left when she introduced Eckhart, but I already was getting upset with things she was saying and endorsing! She consults the spirits before every show??????? She says this on youtube! Clear and empty your head completely and go into a trance? I forget if she said trance, but she did say the first part, for sure. I used to be in The Way Ministry, from 76-87. I then had one year of serious therapy to find my life again. Oprah came along not too long after my departure from The Way. I was very outspoken about The Way and Craig Martindale, even when I was in it. When I left, I lost all the so called family and friends there; or rather, they told me I was possessed and none would speak to me again. I went through quite a lot, but no one could have told me I would head down the path of another situation, ever so subtle, the path of Oprah. She doesn’t believe in having any children, she doesn’t ever plan to marry her live in boyfriend, Steadman. She to me, is, every bit of what ministers and many are seeind and saying, dangerous! She to me, ranks higher than any of the cults you mention. This is today and Oprah has taken over like no other. I wrote to TD Jakes asking him why he and other ministers who have been on her show, don’t say something to her in light of her not embracing the bible or Christ, but actually leaving them out completely, and not a one would answer me. I truly think she has affected even some of the highest clergy. John Hagee said on his show, how successful Oprah Winfrey is. (she is) TD Jakes has been on her show and in her audience more than once, as has Bishop Price. Anyway, I wanted to see if you had anything on Oprah. I didn’t see anything, but I hope you will look into it. I’m prompted to write because I just lost a friend of a lifetime, since 1st grade, to Oprah & Eckhart Tolle! She embraced everything Eckhart says, to the point of telling me, she’s entirely changed and empowered, there is no evil, and she challenged me on heaven and hell being real! He sayd they are no real, we go on after death into another state of consciousness forever! I just lost someone I love, to a cult. She was, all of my life, the friend I loved most. She did change! She’s entirely different now, to the point, she said some things to me so unacceptable, I knew, I had to walk away. This to me, is brainwashing, but what I see really, so frightening, is how it gives the okay to be in sin, for there is NO punishment, no heaven, no hell, no evil exists! You are, in essence he is saying, your own god with your own power! You can be homosexual, and it is a gift, it is okay! You can live without guilt, because, he says so, in his trance like voice! She turned from me, the bible and she began to mock me. I was in shock at her comments and the change in her! I’m still hurting after losing her to this cult, the church of Oprah and Eckhart! The Power of Now! She says that transformed her life forever and she will never be the same! She isn’t! It is very frightening what is coming out of her mouth! And so, I hope you do some exploration into this! The newest and to me, the biggest cult of all in our day and time.
